Overview

Every time you tap your favourite app, talk to a voice assistant, or effortlessly navigate a website – that seamless, invisible magic is Interaction Design. Our B.Des programme empowers you to become the creative mind who crafts these meaningful connections between people and technology.

Guided by the belief that “Good Design makes good business,” this programme inspires you to reimagine how humans interact with the digital world – embracing cutting-edge technologies like AI, voice interfaces, and augmented reality to shape experiences that are not just functional, but truly delightful.

Students then move from foundational knowledge to practical application. They master tools and techniques to translate their ideas into tangible interactive experiences in a structured manner. They formulate information architecture, identify interaction patterns, and understand various UI systems before defining the experience. They learn prototyping skills to validate design assumptions and iterate based on real user feedback. Throughout, they also learn how functional aesthetics transforms a design from simply useful to truly delightful.
In the final year, students consolidate their learnings in a comprehensive portfolio before undertaking real-world challenges. They work on sponsored projects, where they acquire practical knowledge and skills to navigate business environments and understand how design seamlessly transitions into development. This experience allows them to observe how their work fits into the larger ecosystem. By the end, they're well-prepared to embark on their professional journey with diverse career pathways across interaction design.
