Rajasthan trip for Foundation Dept.

“A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.”

On a quest to learn about the cultural heritage, diversities of various ethnicity, and the awe-inspiring arts/crafts of ancient India, a group of students accompanied by esteemed faculty members of UID visited various places in Rajasthan. From heritage sites (City Palace and Ganghaur Ghat) to different marketplaces, from small villages to religious centres (Delwara Temple and Shri Nathji), the team roamed around every nook and corner to experience the design ethos and the cultural heritage. The colourful artefacts, grand architectures, and fine art reflected how culturally rich and diverse our country is. It was a fun-filled learning experience for the up-and-coming designers of UID and they created wonderful memories together to cherish for life.
