The textile department of UID held “Srijan”, a work exhibition of textile students (M.Des.), Semester – I and III on December 06, 2019. The exhibit included work spanning the subjects such as Principles and Elements of Design, Surface Development techniques, Tie and dye, block-printing, Kalamkari, Woven Design surfaces for home and apparels, knitwear, tapestry design technique, digital representation of designs and so on.

As a part of surface development, students have explored various techniques such as embroideries, resist dyeing, embellishments, tie and dyes.

The work was much appreciated by the visitors for the enormous exploration of materials done by the students, the representation of the work and the exhibition layout.
