Karnavati University Alumni Association organized the UID Alumni Virtual Networking Meet on January 22, 2022. A total of 65 alumni joined the event. Dr. Lolita Dutta (Associate Director, UID) shared the importance of alumni-alma mater connection and how each one of us can work together to enrich this connection. The special guests of the event were Mr. Sukhraj Singh Bajwa, Founder of Indenium School of Design and a Sustainable Designer and Mr. Harshal Tote, Principal – UX Designer at ZEUX Innovation. Mr. Bajwa shared the ground reality of the current unsustainable designs and how we as individuals, community and designers can work together to move towards sustainability. Mr. Tote gave insights on the emergence of AI in design, it’s various advantages and disadvantages and how humans are irreplaceable when it comes to understanding designs and human behaviour. Our esteemed alumni, Mr. Sarath Nair, Ms. Sukoshi Nagar and Ms. Apurva Chandwadkar from graduating batch 2018 shared their college days experiences and their professional profiles. They also emphasized the importance of having such networking events and requested KUAA to conduct such events more frequently. Such meetups are very helpful for alumni to grow their networks professionally and personally. We would like to thank everyone who joined and hope to see them and others in person very soon.
