“Induction @ UID 2020- “U r IDENTITY””
In the world of new normal times, UID is all set to commence its academic year of 2020 with young learners and freshmen, who are driven to step into higher education in design. The “Induction Program at UID” acknowledges and celebrates this passion of self – discovery amongst its students, hence it is called “U r IDENTITY. U r IDENTITY Induction program brings youthful and dynamic speakers, experts and students together through a progression of online conversations and workshops, stimulating the cerebrum wires of fiery personalities with multi tactile and multidisciplinary perspectives driven by the need to express and sustain imagination, thinking, cultivating interest, sense of belonging and most importantly well-being. The goal of onboarding is to equip new starters with the knowledge, skills and connections required to perform effectively in their role. But what happens next? We see onboarding as just one part of a wider ecosystem, which UID builds to support continuous learning. Once new starters have the knowledge and confidence to become more independent, they’ll use the knowledge management and performance support tools to complete everyday tasks, undertake self-directed learning, and work with their peers, mentors and various support functionaries in the university to co-create their development goals leading to professional growth and career path.

The Induction Program will be from 4th to 7th August 2020, which will pave the way and jumpstart the academic year for the new batch of 2020.
