As part of the Material Exploration Studies, GDP year 1 students visited Radheshyam Timbers, a wood storage and processing operation unit in the heart of Amhedabad along with their tutors Shubham Bharti and- Surbhi Goyal on 18th of this month. They gained knowledge about the various kinds of wood, how it is harvested, where it comes from, the various applications for each kind of wood, as well as their prices. They observed firsthand how wood is stored and maintained in prime shape for use in various construction.
