Mr. Manish Solanki, Assistant Professor, Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), won the 59th Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi Award in Drawing and Painting.
With his magnificent painting, Mr. Solanki has beautifully encapsulated the wonderful untold stories of our childhood. The theme of the painting is reminiscent of our idyllic childhood when we used to find happiness in the smallest and simplest of the things, which is lost now in the modern day rat race.
