Asst. Prof. Ashish Mathai from Global Design Programme and Asst. Prof. Kaustav Kalyan Deb Burman from Interior Design Dept. participated and presented research papers in the International Conference on Sustainable Design Practices, organized by National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kangra.
The title of their research papers were,
‘Embodied Symbols of Fear and Divinity in Theyyam: Attire as Conduits of Folklore and Communal Emotions’ and
‘An inquiry of traditional artisans and design institute: a Quasi-ethnographic narrative of the artisans perspective’ respectively
