About my Project:
Brief –
A country as diverse as India is symbolised by the plurality of its culture. India has one of the world’s largest collections of songs, music, dance, theatre, folk traditions, performing arts, rites and rituals, paintings and writings that are known, as the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage’ (ICH) of hu-manity. Song and Dance are usually main ingredients in cultural tradition.
The need for Performing arts and cultural education in India, continues to grow but insti-tutes that provide with different but limited kind of performing art forms are very few. Buildings are not designed purposefully keeping in mind its functions and space require-ment.
What the Academy will deal in/ programmes?
• The institute will deal in the classical art forms and will also have western art forms influence on it.
• The programmes will include a bachelors and masters courses.
Goal-
• The goal is to achieve the mixing of all cultures together in one space, and still they will stand out as an individual cultures.
• The main focus of the design would be the transitional spaces which helps to make the whole space as one.
